Getting closer ,Rear is almost finished but still have a few things to do before it's done ! So I'll finish it in the morning and then start the Front & Transfer case, No the rear shocks are not hooked up on the bottom end yet ! IRONMAN shocks are a bit fat so I'll be grinding and welding new mounts.20230605_182214.jpg

I didn't know (or maybe didn't remember) that you went with Ironman. Nice! Foam Cell Pro kit? I will say that mine took a while to settle down, especially the rear. I put a few sand bags in the bed to help with that. Ride was rough at first, but much better now.

Did you have a shop put your kit on or did you install yourself ? So far everything is going good , but I'm wondering if your shocks were primed when they were installed. Being they are Foamcell they need to be primed before instalment ! I will say Ironman shocks are some beefy ass shocks. So do to that I'll be modifying my lower shock mounts, going to finish rear today and hopefully finish front also. Not sure about the Cab chop yet , Not really sure if I'm going to need it or not but will see. Theirs a few other things I'm doing also like extended brake lines ( Crower ) and a few other tricks I've done in the past with both my old Chevy and my jeeps. Yes I use to own a few jeeps. For as broken up as I am I think it's coming along good. But my boy is back from Kentucky so he'll be here to help today.

I installed them myself in my garage with some help from a couple buddies. I wasn't aware of any needed priming and didn't see that mentioned on any instructions or installation videos. Can you tell me where you heard that was necessary? There is no gas, so I know there is no need for charging on rebuilds, which was selling feature for me.

They are beefy and look pretty badass! I'm happy with my decision to go with Ironman.

This little note made me real suspicious , so I called their 1-800 # after looking at videos on how others did theirs. They told me straight up to prime them and me being me had to argue being they weren't GAS ! They still said to pump just to get the foam pressurized inside. I didn't argue anymore and left it at that. Figured they knew what they were doing.20230606_160425.jpg

Still have some thing's to finish up and change out but we're close to being done. Took him for stroll around the country block and out to the County Dump.. I'm happy but still have some shit to finish. Rides like my old 87 Chevy and Tires, well you can hear them but not like Swampers. That's all I'm saying ! Oh and it's not lacking in Power or Gears20230606_174753.jpg

I was planning on doing some wheeling just West of where y'all have planned but I probably won't have my truck, ( do to the new Axel shafts I put on already have messed up boots : ie one ripped apart and other's badly Dry rotated ) So I'll now spend the extra money and go RCV this time . So I'll have spares once I replace the boots & repack with grease. Besides that I may get stuck driving the youngest car or U-haul out to Colorado, But if I do I'll be with my Son in his Ford. Black with true 35s. Nice looking truck .
