Looks like a solid board but a high cost of entry

 

The 4.0 is $23.80, programmer is onboard. Is that high?

 

I think I'm just going to try to make the Arduino Nano work with char string implementation via PROGMEM. That should hopefully free up enough memory to do what I need it to do - there are a lot of bytes used for just storing names like "EngSpd"

 

For a one off no, for volume yeah pretty high. Even the low cost one they make is $15 bte.

 

Fair enough. Didn’t realize this was a high volume plan. $10 for an assembled Mcu with performance is pretty cheap.

 

It's not incredibly high considering the competition is $400, but when I feel like it can be done for 5-10 bucks it's a deterrent

 

Yeah that’s always been a big motivator for embedded stuff. Use all the capabilities.

If I was to re-port all my code over to their CircuitPython I could just use my Picos and achieve the same, but I'm burnt out of it now :/

Why not just configure the air con idle offset rather than use another axis on the main idle output and RPM target tables?

 

Not sure how you wired it but mine responds to the actual clutch engaging which is what you want

 

Mine responds to the AC amplifier engaging the clutch too

 

Offset wasn't working for me. Maybe it will work now, since I have the button setup working.

At the end of the video, there's a moment where it's not responding, but then (I feel) the clutch on the AC let go and it shows Off when that happens. I would say mine is reacting to the clutch as well.

 

Got to see 12PSI today. Shrunk my IK20s to 0.032" and the WOT power death disappeared. Thanks to @DrabT100 for bringing the possibility to my attention.
Still having trouble getting closed loop boost control to do anything though... And transient still needs a little help, though not fatal by any means as it sits.

Also fuel temp seems to have a bad calibration... says it was 66*F from the HT analog fuel temp cal file and that was after switching the trigger edge, but at least it's not reading 250F anymore. Thinking this might be the correct setting, though it's not what's included with NSP (it would put me around 120*F which is what I'd expect).

 

When you said you were shrinking your gap I thought you meant by a lot. 32thou is absolutely fine with stock coils, shit even with performance coils 28thou is probably around what id run. On old dizzy cars with boost I'll go down as far as 16thou

 

I lowered them from 0.043 so -9thou was about 20% smaller
Was willing to go 0.028 if I still had some symptoms but seems they're alleviated for now
