Most drivers get paid bonuses for the position they finish, I imagine the same is with Alonso, that’s why he let Stroll stay in front.

Over 20 years of single team dominance. With one season where MB and RB had similar pace, and race officials got to decide the championship.

I'm a little behind on watcing the LeMans race but did anyone notice Jenson Button is racing a Camaro ZL1 Nascar. His team mate qualified 4 secs quicker than the GTE class :anonymous:

And Jack Aitken stacked it on the first chicane on the Mulsanne strait and then bring the car into the pits on 3 wheels

It was a great race for all 24 hours. The Hendrick racing Camaro was "Garage 56" this year which is reserved for experimental vehicles and designs. If you are familiar with the Nissan Delta wing car from years back, that was a garage 56 car back then.

That Cadillac sounds amazing in person. I love getting to hear all the new cars first every year at Rolex 24hr at Daytona. Hearing cars running on the banking at WOT is awesome!! You would have loved the sound of the V8 corvette as a Factory program the last 20 years. Sounds like the nascar. Just please mean and angry. The Damn car would rattle the RV when it comes by on the banking every lap at Daytona.

Yup, last time at Lemans the corvettes were the noisiest cars, period!

Did you see the barn door they put on the back of the nascar to slow it down?

    This is a good read…

Jenson “‘Oversteer everywhere,’ he begins. ‘Like everywhere. I’m not sure I’ve ever driven a car with less grip. I tried to be as smooth as possible and I just went slower. So you have to bully it and hold on. Basically, when you feel like you’re on the edge of a crash you’re about in the right place.’
