Basically 2 games that were over in the first period. In a Western Conference Final, that's not acceptable. And chances of winning that series are pretty slim at that point, so yes, to me it is bad.

 

Congrats to Miami sports fans. Panthers down 3-1 to historic season Bruins as well as behind in Game 7 with less than 1 minute to go. Heat were trailing the Bulls with 3 minutes to go in the final ‘play-in’ game. Now both are playing for the title. Even if neither win I imagine Miami sports fans have really enjoyed the month of May.

 

Pens officially hire Dubas. I think it' a great move.

Now go try to get Hellebuyck and that would be amazing.

 

Will Dubas' hire have any effect on Sully?

 

Wonder who Dubas will select as GM.

 

I would think he has a better chance on being on the same page w/ what Sully wants to do and how Sully likes the team to play. It almost sounded like the old regime and Sully didn't communicate enough or share certain philosophies. But I feel like that was sometimes the case with Rutherford too. So who knows. Hopefully. I just like a younger guy in there, with fresh ideas and who seems to have a view that would compliment how the Penguins like to play.

Ya I'm not sure. Sounds like Dubas will be calling the shots and have a lot of power with what he wants to do, so I assume it'll ultimately go through him anyways.

Hate to say it but FL is starting to look like a team that was carried by a hot goalie. And Tkachuk was able to will them the rest of the way. But right now, they just look outclassed.

These playoffs have kind of sucked since the first round, overall. The games/series just don't seem like the typical playoff battles. Maybe it's just me, I dunno.

I haven't watched any games since all the original 6 teams were sent packing.
