I know this is belabored to death, and I'm sure it has been answered in 400 other threads, but I have yet to come across that data in my searches.

    A quick question...

I have a 3" Front 2" Rear Leveling Lift Kit installed on a 2019 TRD OR. Will BFG KO2 285/75/16 (stock wheels) fit without wheel spacers and a cab mount chop?

This is a street truck. Light gravel roads at best. I don't use words like "articulation" or "flex" More often than not, I use words like : "Let's get tacos, I like hamburgers, or Oh shit, I need to get more gas."

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Best,
    MJA

Im on TRD 4runner wheels and I have ground down the cab mount and been trimming plastic, but haven't gotten to the point of zero rub over bumps both directions just yet.

So I would say the answer is a firm maybe.... but be ready to make adjustments.

BFG what? What wheels? The answer is likely yes, but fit is relative.

I am currently running 285/75/16 KO2's on stock OR wheels. I installed 1.25 spacers and CMC. Your tires will be pretty close to UCA so spacers help and most likely you will rub on full lock or with passengers in truck.

I’m 99.9% sure they will fit with zero trimming or cutting.

In one of my truck’s previous forms, it had a 2” level kit up front. I had 285/75/16 Yokohoma g003 mud terrains on it and they didn’t rub at all, even at full lock, on the road.

So a 33” tire should fit no problem if you have 3” of lift up front.

    Edit:

I forgot to mention my wheels have a -10mm offset, so I can’t speak to UCA rubbing because that helped me clear the UCAs. It still wasn’t very close though.

2/1 on 5100s, running 285/70/17s on TRD Pro Sema 4Runner wheels, no rubbing, no cmc and still running the factory mud guards and a great alignment. I don't see why people are doing a cmc when running this setup.

If you read alot of threads, you will be chasing a lot more problems than a tire rub over 2" of lift in front.

Thank you. ECT has already been done, if that's what you are eluding to or am I dropping the ball somewhere else? Truck runs-n-rides great as of now w/ stock tires. Just wavering between the omnipresent 265 vs. 285 existential debate.

that’s because our wheels have a different offset. My friend has 20’ Pro stock with 285/75/16 Yokohama MT’s and doesn’t rub and other friend has a stock 21 OR with same Yokohama tires and rubs. Wheel offset makes a difference

I got that, but I was referring to people doing a cab chop with the SEMA wheels knowing +4 offset puts it nowhere close.

Thank you, gentlemen. To date, it sounds like a strong maybe. ;)

    +1 for 265/75/16s
