Time to let them cool while I prep the lattice -

 

@Ozark_RegCab At one point in my life, I could store a lot of map detail in my memory.

To get to Port Jeff, it's Jamaica Queens, Mineola, Carle Place, Westbury, Hicksville, Syosett,, based on route and destination. It seemed easy enough to commit to memory.



It would drive us crazy when a tourist starts asking about, blah, blah, blah, Day 1 or Day 4.

 

Unfortunately I’ll be in KC for a wedding that weekend but I’m gonna try to go to rigs and coffee this Saturday in Bentonville.

 

hope u nerds are doing good, just been working on fixing my life.

looking forward to crawling under my 5 lug truck and changing the slave and master clutch cylinders and bleeding em alone.

 

Fuck me, I should've made my dough this morning or even last night cause it's still not frozen.

Poured my apple filling into my crust and just as I rolled out the dough, the lattice stripe I cut immediately fell apart as I pulled them off.



So I tossed it back in the freezer.

Rushed the lattice so it's not the best looking, least it's ready to go into the oven -

 

They meet at a cool place. I would like to visit them sometime. I may be one of the more senior folks though. This weekend, I'm committed to the swap meet at the Museum of Automobiles.

We got Dex's DNA results in.....






got ourselves a purebred lol.

Apparently he has a high "wolfiness" percentage too at 3.4%, doesn't mean he has wolf DNA it just means he has more markers in his DNA that reflect more ancient breeds than most domestic dogs do. Common in northern/snow dog breeds apparently

I just had this funny/weird exchange with Rebecca via phone, I was trying to send her my login info for the DNA website so she could look at Dex's results as well...she kept asking for my password even though I texted it to her multiple times, I thought she or I was losing our minds.

Apparently my phone was editing out the password in each text I sent, wtf. I had no idea that was a thing...security feature I guess? I had to send her a screenshot of it.
