New head unit. Not expensive but has Android Auto and allows for the use of my steering wheel controls and backup camera. OEM radio would change stations on its own, shut itself off, and had no power. This upgrade makes every trip wayyy better.

Depending on what I am doing and the time of year:
    1. Window tint with ceramic on the windshield.
    2. Sumo springs.
    3. I have a four auto, Sprint Booster.

In Michigan its illegal...even illegal to tint the sides unless you get a doctors note. and theres ONE state patrol that stops EVERY vehicle with tint when you cross the Mackinac Bridge, cause yeah, thats efficient...[IMG]

Close to everything near the floor plan has to come off. Simple affair.

100% the best mod I have done so far is my softopper.

    None... yet
I have only really done 5 mods to my truck.
#1 - Clutch Accumulator Delete. This was a night and day difference in how it drove. This is the first thing I would do.
#2 - Hood Struts. This just makes getting to the engine easier.
#3 - Fumoto Drain Valve. I love this thing. It makes oil changes so much easier than they already are.
#4 - 3rd Gen suspension. I got mine as factory take-offs from a TRD Off-Road. Raised the front about .75"
#5 - Head unit. I just got a single din with Bluetooth. Its nice having the hands free option. And I can use Spotify from my phone.

I have to list some of my top mods, there are a few that come to mind and really improve the user experience.
    1. Driver seat rear spacers (washers or the fancy billet spacers). I held off on this one for a while but should have done it sooner. Massive improvement in the seating position and feel.
    2. Hammer hangers. Any truck, stock or loaded up hauling or towing can benefit from this. You don't realize how bad the stock shackle hangers are until you do this. But it is especially noticeable if you upgrade your leafs for hauling, which then makes it very apparent. All the bumps are being absorbed by your hangers and then the frame before your suspension can do its job. Now my truck is planted and doesn't walk all over corrugated dirt roads. When hauling my 1600 lb camper it no longer gets the death shakes driving over bridges or certain road conditions. Also reduces the notorious vibration on takeoff.
    3. Tundra brake booster (for early 2nd gens). Everyone that drives my truck said the brakes were horrible before. For less than $200 I installed a 2007-2017 Tundra booster/master cylinder with a little fab work. Now my brakes have the bite they were missing. Before, I had to use so much pressure to stay put when in downhill traffic with the AC on. The difference is impressive

Redline hood struts. One shoulder replacement and putting off the 2nd one cause surgery sucks. The hood struts have been a lifesaver.
