Too much boringness for me. Not enough “am I about to die” moments. Plus I ride for technical ability, the fitness is just a nice bonus

You should check out the specialized status. 160/160. I ride Northstar on that thing all the time. Only thing it's a bit heavy

I'm more of a 100mm Front / 85mm rear, DJ status. Shuttle me to the top...

I’m going trek slash. 2021+ pedals great. That or SB150.

also we can definitely hit some northstar days if you want. I don’t know if any of my buddies are gonna get a pass and best not to ride too crazy solo. I’m awful at jumps tho. Tech I can do. That’s my goal this year is progress on that.

eh you don’t even need a shuttle for most DJ trails. Total vert gain/lose on those is mellow from what I’ve seen.

But I fully agree on shuttle being the best way

hopefully this Saturday some buddies and I will get out and shuttle tyrolian and get at least 4-5 laps in

Figured it’d be mostly open based on what I saw on a Facebook mtb group even if the jump line portion is snowy oh well. I rode all of Armstrong connector and corral and was clear this last week

any idea if sawtooth road in truckee would be clear so I could shuttle Big chief?

Having owned both a free ride and cyclocross, I've had way more "am I about to die" moments descending on the cyclocross in the drops.

I've driven over mt rose a handful of times and seen the starting point still super buried. maybe the jumps are somewhat exposed since it's facing the sun?
