Is this adapter strictly applies to a mono amp? Or can you bridge the connection to say a 4 ch or 5ch amp?
I just upgraded all door speakers and wanted to add another amp to Power the door speakers, is it possible to add another amp to my current setup or should I just get a five ch amp? Screenshot_20230606_182416_Amazon Shopping.jpg Screenshot_20230606_182331_Chrome.jpg

currently running 2 8inch kicker subs with passive

Kicker amp and stock head unit
    Any suggestions

This is pandora,s box you can do this a bunch of ways. Crutchfield a call is one and
Go on audio control s website. There are line output converter and amps that have that all built in . Also there are amps that run high level signals direct as an input. Meaning the speaker wires ( on the radio side ) can run right in to the amp.
I have audio control stuff in my truck. They make nice equipment.
With you situation a 5 channel amp can be the simplest way to go because of all the speakers . Maybe a 50x4 and 300 x1
Another option is check out trail grid pro. They have plug and play options of Sony radios that will have the 50x4 ( good power ) and then you hook up the sub amp and your good to go .Plus you get a nice flat signal which will sound way better. The Toyota signal has a lot of holes

I have that adapter in my truck pushing a cx400.1 amp (mono). As I understand it, that harness only taps the front right speaker for the audio signal and then the other part of the harness for the remote turn on. I don't think it would work to share with another amp, but I am no audio pro.

When you start getting into the 4 channel side for the speakers frequency starts to become critical , the term garbage in garbage out. The signal to the amp needs to be clean if you really are serious about good sound . These factory radios are funny sometimes so you either fix the signal out put and feed the amp or amps clean or you get a head unit that will feed the amp or amps clean . Now if you don’t really care about sound too much then you could cut corners

get an amp with high level inputs, then you can just connect straight to the amp from the radio.

Just a follow up ? To this amp loc ,since it only taps into the front right speaker being not hooked up to the left front speaker does it degrade in the bass qualify or does not matter.
Will my sub get better sound or louder if the loc was connected to both right and left speaker?

    It’s fine for the sub
The front gets decent power. The issue is pulling signal from the front

The frequency below some point is mono. SW frequency from L or R should be identical.

only because either of those offer bass processing to boost/alter the signal. there's also plenty of add-on bass processors that do the same thing without the audiocontrol name brand cost premium.

lc2i is designed for up to 2 input signals with 2 pairs of independent outputs.
lc7i is designed for up to 6 input signals with 3 pairs of independent outputs.

they otherwise do the exact same thing, there's zero acoustical benefit to one over the other.

I just bought this mini amp wanted to power the 4 door speakers ,but which side of the wiring should I tap into, I was thinking the one bundled with the power n ground I won't need a remote turn on but if I used the other side I would need one
