    Update on the snake, fed today. I did notice what I believe are signs of a shed coming. Cloudy eyes, dull color, clumsy movement. I'll give him time to digest his meal. I filled his water dish and wet down an area of his bedding for moisture. I was considering letting him slither in a damp towel after hes had time to deal with his meal

    Hadn't seen Lady Gaga in awhile so I peeked with a flashlight and no fucking shit, she molted

    Just soaked in soapy water to lay it out flat, I broke 2 legs off attempting to extract it as she fucking struck a few times and stayed in her threat posture the entire time

    Looking back at this thread, her last molt was in Aug of last year

    I've got a spreadsheet to track all of my molts and it's interesting seeing how "regular" some of the species are with how long it takes them to molt.

    Having only one T makes it easy.

    We have this little nook where she resides, and that's where all our pet stuff is (for the dogs).

    Well, didn't realize I had that molt of hers from last year so I was able to compare the two.

    She gained just over an inch from the previous molt to the one I retrieved yesterday (just at 5" from tip to tip).

    Meaning she's over 5" for a Monocentropus Balfouri, that's huge!

    Age, temps, and food diet

    She's not a voracious eater like my old P. Murinus or L. Parahybana were...no she'll actually smack a cricket with her feet and shove them out even if she hasn't eaten in 2 months sometimes

    I texted Monet the pics and she was super stoked only to show me one of her Brazilian Blacks (both recently molted)

    Hers are going on about 3 years now, a year younger than my M. Balfouri so hopefully she lucked out and got two females!

    So, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to rehouse her cause she's outgrown her current setup

    She has not been out in the open like this for awhile and she is fucking big; easily over 5 1/2" legspan considering the area she covers

    Apparently the M. Balfouri tops out at 4"?
