One last time LIFT KIT HELP!

Ok so im sure those of you that are online alot have noticed i keep asking stupid questions about lift kits....i know some stuff but im gettin closer with all the guys helpin me out on here. THANKS by the way. so here we go....hopefully for the last time:

looks good to me, and i guess your going to use the factory coils up front? if i were you id go ahead and drop the lil extra dough on the eibachs while i was at toytec and get a better discount code and dont forget to make an account on DSM to get the discount there to.

dont have a part number but heres the link to them. and that way you can set the billies at 0" and still achieve 3" of lift and if not since you have the winch you can go up to 1.5" notch on the billie, i know when i get my plate bumper i will be at the 1.5 to compensate for the weight.

yea i thnk i paid right at 175 including shipping for the coils and 175 for the Billies, so 325 all in all, then im tryin to sell my space lift to save up for new leafs in the rear.

i just did fronts, yes the whole set is around 300 if im not mistaking from DSM, but i already had extended rear shocks that came with my spacer lift so i am using those for a hwile before i upgrade to the rear Billies as well

 

oh true so if i bought the all around billies would i need a new set of AAls? and front coils?

 

No you could re-use your factory coils but you would still need an AAL. The eibach coils are just a 3" lift coil so you dont have to raise the setting on the Billies for the stock ones, it will ride rough with the stock coils raised up on the 1.5 or 2.5 setting, so with the eibachs you can leave it at 0 and get the nice ride, mine ride awesome, if you want to check them out sometime just pm and you can look it over.

Probably have the same/similar question everyone else has....I understand every lift is different but I think I know what I want and I think I understand what I want to achieve with my truck. Here it goes....

I have a 2007 Toy Tacoma TRD 4x2 and I want to lift it 3". I live in LA and am not going out to rage in the mountains but want the lift still with quality (no spacers....right?, I want smooth and nothing detrimental to my suspension). From what I understand, a 3" lift means (I think, PLEASE correct me if Im wrong) is a leveling in the front by about 1.75" (???). The little research I've done on this forum, most recommend to get a toytech Billstein 5100s all around (heard they do great things to the ride in the rear....thats what she said) and aal in rear. Right? Wrong? I just want to know what to order from toytech to achieve this 3" lift. Thanks for your patience TW.

 

yea thats right....5100s all around and get the aals in the rear....smooth ride and its all quality...that should do it all up for you!

 

f*cking love the quick response! Thanks so much! Still waiting on my boy to come back from the body shop after getting all the knicks, bumps and scratches smoothed out (with addition of JDM BLK Headlights with DDM HID Slim Kit 55w 5000ks and spaying skid plate black)....pics up ASAP!

 

x2 just note that the 2nd gens require a higher setting to achieve 3" than the 1st gens. ex;

1st gen set-up 5100's w/ eibachs set at 0 = 3"

And 2nd Gens with same set-up have to set at .85 to achieve 3"
