It felt really good to start learning how to drive it haha Every heim in the bitch worked itself loose and I bent one front bump stop landing pad and crushed a slider, other than that everything is good. Should probably use some lock tite on the steering clevis thing.

Oh and I just got back from the ER because a cut I got out there got infected so I had to get a shot in the ass

Nice. I may end up doing something like this when I 4 link the rear of mine too. For now just need it on the ground and driving.

Jealous of being able to just weld the crossmember in though. My duals are so long that I've gotta make mine removable.

I'm surprised more people don't do this when linking honestly.

Random question. How many of you guys carry a spare tire? Especially if you’re running something big like a 40 or 42, do you have a matching spare wheel and tire or just something cheap, or do you run nothing at all?

I carry a full size, matching spare. If you don't run events, it wouldn't matter IMO. Here, local clubs mandate that an operator carry a spare within 3" of the actual tire size.

I’m running a matching spare on a swingout. Truck will see some street miles and be driven to wheel some so it made sense to me to have a matching spare. If it was a trailer queen on stickies or something then I’d just run the cheapest shittiest spare that would hold air.

Matching full size spare on a matching beadlock. Used to run a crappy AT spare until I needed it and realized my trip was effectively over.

I carry a full size spare, not on a beadlock or the same tire. It is a Toyo MT so on the trail it will suck  I drive to and from the trails so I need something that won't make that drive miserable if I fuck a tire up.

Mine’s trailered. no way I’d spend $800-1000 on a spare 42, much less another wheel to go with it. I’d like to pick up a vulcanizing kit though. Most folks running tires that big are stickies and they wouldn’t be riding on the street. If I had a tag I’d have a full size spare.

I don't currently run a spare but I should b/c I drive it to and from the parks. That said, my engine is more likely to have a blowout at this point.... :pout:

I leave my junk fullsize spare on the trailer. Might make for a long walk back someday but hey, it's cheap

Your tires don't stay on the bead long enough to have a chance to get punctured :D

I've contemplated not running a spare. I carry one of those glue tread kits for sidewall stuff, but I should look into some of those vulcanizing kits too.

    There's always AAA...

Yep, I'll phone AAA with my satellite phone when I'm 2 days and 20 miles into the Dusy Ershim trail. Maybe they'll bring a helicopter to lift my junk out and put it by Courtright Reservoir so I can load it on my trailer and tow it home instead :duel:

I somehow puncture 2 good tires and had to drive home with a 35" using a buddy's spare, my bald 37, and 2 remaining 37
