Thank you Miss Susan. Looks like I will be having another surgery. Another appointment in a month. If no changes…surgery scheduled. If improvement wait another month. If worsening…that’s the big question, but most like will need to wait multiple months.

They did put me on a fancy machine that measures the amount of torsion that this disease has caused on my eyes. Torsion is what causes the double vision by stretching my eyes up or down. In my case my right eye sees an overlapping image that meets at the top but is 45 degrees off at the bottom. I was given two pictures. The left eye saw a lion and the right eye saw a cage. I had to put the lion in the cage and have it sitting parallel to the ground. When we finally got things adjusted I was able to see single vision for the first time in 5 years. My wife on the other hand got to see what my vision truly looks like…she wept.

On a more positive note: I’ve upped my s’mores game. Highly recommend this if you’ve never tried it

well with all this talk of the fires & such.. it was weird when the smoke became a haze at my place in SE Ohio this afternoon.

this might kill my open windows in the morning thing for a few days. as you can see in my state im just inside an orange area.
(my place is the little black dot in the pic)
