I just now stepped outside and the smell is very strong.
It doesn't have that sharp tang to it, like when you're burning a brush pile.

It's more like the smell you get when stirring up a dead campfire, but much stronger.

I hate most gas powered shit anymore….

 

We were just watching the news and I was wondering how bad the smoke was compared to a "normal" west coast fire season. The smoke, the headaches, etc... It's brutal. I'm sorry you guys are getting a taste of it.

In case it's helpful, the smoke is typically at it's worst in the wee hours just like pollen.

Do not sleep with your windows open because you'll only hate yourself in the morning. I can't tell you how many times I wake up in the middle of the night in the summers to close windows because all of a sudden the wind shifts and it's like oh, hello house full of smoke
