A Night Train/FXSTB would be a good bar hopper bike...

I'm down to one bike now... a Triumph Speed Twin. A Low Rider ST and a Moto Guzzi V100 are on my short list though.

You guys are making me miss having a road bike.
I switched to dirt once I became a dad

From time to time I will rent and get out on the road.
A month or so ago I rented a Triumph Street Twin and rode PCH with my brother.

Quick question. Let's say a friend of yours was backed into in a parking lot. And his rear taillight is cracked, the plastic left rear bumper got a little dent and scratch, lastly the rear bottom of the fender below the tailgate got scratched and dented a little.

The insurance company called him immediately and based an estimate on pictures of just over $1500 minus a small deductible.

Ironically, if the insurance company would just buy this bumper, and a Craigslist taillight I'd, I mean my friend would be golden. How does he get the insurance company to see how by not doing bodywork they are helping a small business owner at the same time? :anonymous:

It was fun around town and up to like 60mph after that it just felt like the motor was going to grenade itself.

I enjoyed it. It got a lot of attention lol

This is the one I regret selling

When I got ran into in a similar situation, the offending parties insurance just gave me a check after I got a quote. I skipped out on having a body shape replace the taillight and bumper cover and I did it myself, pocketing the ~$600.

I'll tell ya what, catching the motorcycle bug is a legit illness. Hahahaha! Dirt bikes, dual sports, street bikes... whatever if it's on two wheels. Drives my wife bonkers, but she also likes riding 2 up.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
    This.

You just need to get the quote in writing from a shop, what you do with the payout is really up to you, as far as the paying insurance company's concerned. You could throw a mean wiley coyote sticker on it and save even more.

Edit to say, in my limited experience. It's been once, and it was back in Georgia.

Yeah that would be all I would want it for. Just little rides around town. When we do our bigger runs outside of town and around all the towns I take the street glide.

For just pure silliness, I enjoyed riding it more than my R1. When I wanted to get somewhere in a hurry, the R1 was the choice. But the sound and torque were unreal.
