    I bought a 24” Polygon for my daughter. It’s a pretty nice bike for the price. Free shipping. I swapped the tires to Minions and swapped the lighter stem and handlebars from her previous bike to it and it was good to hit any trails.

    I learned that stretch belts are apparently a common thing. I had never encountered one before.

    I put new belts in my RockAuto cart with my brake stuff because they were cheap, and because losing one on my Tacoma on the interstate wasn't a fun experience. The main belt is easy, just an auto tensioner. The A/C compressor belt is a stretch belt, so there is no tensioner. The zip tie trick worked fine but it just made me wonder why they didn't mount the A/C compressor an inch further forward so they could drive everything off the same belt. The truck has electric power steering as it is, so you are only spinning an alternator, A/C compressor, and water pump.
