That's your problem right there. Tacomas aren't class 2 trucks, some dealers put those on there by mistake. Peel that shit off and register it as regular half ton truck. It's not a heavy half, 3/4 or bigger. I've told so many people around western Pa. about this.

    Class 2. Weight: 6,001 – 10,000 lbs. Full-size or half-ton pickups are usually under Class 2.

I don't know if this is going to help at all, but I'll attempt to provide some additional context.

The last time US fighter jets were scrambled to check on a civilian plane was probably on 9/11; and for the same reason. When flight 93 was headed back towards the capital and was believed to target a federal building, jets were scrambled to investigate. Had that plane gone closer and become a larger threat, there are protocols for essentially taking out a civilian aircraft in order to prevent a larger catastrophe. That did not happen and the passengers of that plane fought and aided in it going down in PA.

One of the interesting points on this current event I find interesting is that radio contact was lost so soon after takeoff, but there seems to have been no concern because it didn't deviate from its intended flight path. While that may be, I would think 90 minutes of no radio comms should be some cause for concern. But when they finally scrambled the aircraft, they did observe the pilot in a slumped over position, and supposedly it was known at that point the plane didn't have enough fuel to return and rapidly descended. It will be interesting to see if there was any footage from that jet and if the DoD declassify it and make it visible to the public. And the reason for supersonic was needing to catch up to it before it got too close to restricted space that was highly populated. It's very rare for US aircraft to break the sound barrier over a densely populated area.

    sorry...that got long winded...

My girlfriend had a doctor's appointment today and she's still seeing her doctor in Stroudsburg, which is why we drove up here. The air quality is not as bad as it was yesterday, but you can still see thick smoke in the distance...

She only has to see this particular doctor in person once a year normally, and usually does FaceTime/telehealth, but she needed a shot.

Ant, Canada has a strategic maple syrup reserve. Everything will be ok.

Unless you eat syrup that doesn’t come from maple trees. If that’s the case you deserve any negative outcome that comes to you.

I'm not saying the gov doesn't make outlandish claims...but I have never sat around a bonfire that has had the volume of contaminated air particulates like this...maybe I'm going to the wrong bonfires?

I'm pretty sure that decorating it like that would be illegal in some states...

I was also shown a thermal camera that all of these fires look to be lit separately and simultaneously so it appears that this is self inflicted.
