Are there any EMEK lovers out here in Maryland?
Hey guys, I’m not sure if this is appropriate or not and wanted to get your opinions on it first. I don’t think it’s breaking any TW rules but I try to be mindful of maintaining etiquette and not sure where this falls, so here goes. I am somewhat of an art collector, primarily concert/music related art. I am doing a bit of down sizing and as such am parting ways with some of my favorite pieces and as all the pieces are professionally framed and in museum glass I figure I’d rather sell the art as is, in its framed state, instead of breaking everything down, and rolling it up in tubes to ship. The majority of the art is from the artist EMEK. A quick google search will give you an idea of the type of work he does. Are there any EMEK lovers out here in Maryland and if so would you be interested in seeing what I have for sale. If I get some feedback and y’all feel it’s appropriate, I will post pictures of what I’m selling with an accompanying description of the pieces I am selling. Thanks and cheers!

Don’t see this violating any rules. People sell camera’s, firearms, etc. Why not art?

 

Might be worth cross posting on the mdshooters.com forum if you haven't already, they've got a an active local classifieds section. If I needed 10 rounders i'd snap em up. glws.

 

Yeah it's nasty down in the flatlands, only take about 40 yards of sightline to see the thick haze. Weather station says 2.8 miles of viability, I doubt it's that much where we are.

 

Thought about that, and will probably do that as well but since I’m not looking to ship figured I’d try starting in my local Maryland forum.

I know, I know it's not a Toyota but this thing was bad ass. I quickly glanced at the undercarriage and it looked rust free. I saw it today in Hagerstown.

Good morning MD. Up at 5 am for no reason. I have a fence project I am getting ready to tackle at my house. I have to pull out about a dozen fence posts and replace them and the rails. Only 2 are concreted in so I think I can knock this job out pretty quickly. I think this is a good time to buy a 48" farm jack. I will use it to pull the posts and then strap it to my cross bar with my shovel and axe. Only half posing as it will likely come in handy at my brothers place as he is getting tired of pulling me out with his Kubota. Im thinking a Badlands 48" from Harbor Freight. Anyone have any experience good or bad with a Badlands jack?

I picked up and hung my custom made sign yesterday. If anyone is looking to have a heavy guage custom metal sign made at a reasonable price I highly recommend Rhodes Metal Worx in Williamsport Md (just south of Clear Spring Md). Instead of a powder coated color we had it torched then powder coated clear for a rustic look. It's 42" in diameter. It only cost $212 and that included the sales tax. Wife & I was looking online at similar sized signs in the $450 price range + shipping.
