Somebody posted in here that you have to cut two wires to pass audio. I didn’t have JBL but it is in here somewhere

Mine is wireless AA and Carplay is launching after the key is on. I use Spotify, it resumes from the same spot.

Anyone experience issues getting the radio to work? I feel like an idiot right now, and I'm sure it's going to be something basic. Everything else works. I plugged the only plug that will fit in the radio ANT spot, which contains a blue wire leading to a plug; the plug isn't plugged into anything because I didn't see anything from the truck that would. But that blue wire leads over to the main plug back to the HU.

Yep I'm an idiot. The cable from the truck that it needed to connect to, fell down into the dash. Not proud of my first post here.

Hi all, I just received mine hu yesterday and tried to install it today but I couldn't figure out how to get the reverse camera to work on my 17. There are three yellow rca wires labeled camera in on the provided harness. Where do I plug those into?

Take a look at my pic 3 posts up, you can see the three yellow plugs. One labeled "CAM VIN" goes into the HU, the other two yellows connect to each other.

I believe I've mentioned it in this thread before, but still am looking for a solution. To be able to use Apple Carplay, my iphone needs to create a hotspot. To start that hotspot, my phone needs cell connection. I did a 3 day trip in the woods with limited cell service and the headunit would not connect due to the lack of cell service/no hotspot. Is there any workaround for this?

Driving backroads with no music or Gaia maps is a bummer

My unit started popping the fuse located on the head unit (10A). Anyone had this issue? Pops it as soon as I plug a new fuse is installed and the AC power is on.

What version of Android are you on? Mines Android 8 and Joying mentioned I can not get it to a newer version. Mines a little buggy here and there but nothing crazy

I think I am on 8, but they are correct that you can not get new versions. If you want to get a newer version you would need to buy the newest headunit. It all comes down to what the hardware can handle and how much programming they want to do.
