Really glad to see your success. Those cuts look so great!

I spend a lot of time on Langmiur's site and there are a some Primeweld haters over there. Mostly the Hypertherm crew. Yes, spend $5000 on a plasma cutter with very expensive consumables and it will perform better than a $700 unit. No argument. However, a lot of us are getting some pretty darm good results with the PW Cut60.

They seem to take any issue a PW owner has and make it a "Public Service Announcement" against buying anything less than a $5000 machine.

Primarily, the PW Cut 60 1st gen has issues with electro magnetic interference to the Langmuir controller. I have a 1st gen unit. The issue can be overcome, so even my 1st gen is cutting really well now that I have that worked out. Also, the PW internal voltage reduction circuit also had more fluctuation than he LS controller could tolerate. Just means you have to tap raw voltage on the motherboard for the torch feed instead of using the CNC port and feed it through the small, external (VMI) control box to provide the feed to the LS controller.

I'm gonna have to start selling more to make room.

Just made this for a Mustang buddy:

I will admit I am a die hard Hypertherm Fan. .

At that level of machine I worked with the last 2 Hypertherm Reps .

As long as Prime Weld keeps @Kwikvette happy I have no problems they seem to have outstanding customer Service. Which is very necessary to me.

Man, I noticed that immediately among the group.

I could buy a Hypertherm, and had considered one but only to have one plasma cutter dedicated to the table and another one dedicated to a hand torch.

Figured I don't need more machines cause that just means more carts :bananadead: @Bivouac would of course love to see another cart

By the way those signs are freaking legit.

For as many of those as you make, you should be cutting those parts out yourself on your own cnc table :spending:

    Just do it!

My MIL just asked if I could make a plaque holder as a placeholder until she gets a headstone for my FIL.

2 minutes drawing, 1 minute cutting, and 1 minute bending -

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

That shit looks perfect bro! Can't wait till it gets here. I'll post up finished product for sure.

No close ups... because I'm not a seasoned welder... and I have no patients for the typical petty knit picking bullshit comments that always come from posting pictures of the beads

But here's what those pads are for.

Good to see you posting here Matt!

I'm sure the guys I shoot the shit with here were probably wondering who some of those parts were for

As for the welds, I've seen your stuff. That shit will hold, ain't gotta look pretty!

Your parts arrive tomorrow by the way ;)

For sure, doesn't have to look pretty. I have zero interest in how it looks, just that it doesn't let go.

Never had one fail offroad, or on farm equipment. So I must be doing something right.

If you understand the concept it just takes more arc time.

I know well paid pipe welders who`s welds doing something different under a truck look like Ray Charles welding attempts.

The actual looks of my welds... now... are probably mostly due to my diminishing eye sight. I'm to the point of needing bifocals or a second pair of glasses for reading. But I normally just weld without my glasses. (I'm near sighted)

Also light... I've started lighting my welding area with a spot lamp, and they probably do look better. I started using the lamp more so because if I was running in to a shadowed area, with my vision issues as well... I'd start to lose where I was at.

Beyond that, I tend to probably run hotter, slower, and with too much wire speed. But, that's just because I'm paranoid the shit won't glue together lol

If you can`t see I can understand all to well .

As I got older more light on the joints was a big help.

I am lucky my vision is the opposite I can see fine to read and weld .

It might have been in my forties when I first saw a Eye doctor he told me my eyes were focused from all the years of welding. Within 6" to 20"
