Yea there's quite a few trails that are stock friendly. If you have sliders and skids you could do pretty much most of the trails we take.

You may want to join ENH and go out on some of their runs www.exploringnh.com

Ok people smarter than me, I got some questions lol: went wheeling, screwed my radiator, replaced it. When I started it up I felt a very rapid, intermittent pulse in the brake pedal, and when I started driving there's a noise that sounds like a vcr ejecting a tape coming from under the dash on the driver side. Scale of 1-10 how fucked am I?

Brake booster??? Do you even have one? I’m thinking but that would do both of those symptoms

    master cylinder then…

Yup he's got one, he's got the crawl stuff too. The OR and Pro have different boosters than the rest of the lineup because of that.

Matt - I know the radiator blew but we also went no-power down the hill using brakes (right?) and e-brake, if that helps to diagnose anything.

(We weren't THAT dumb, we had a second truck strapped behind us with brakes just in case, so the truck didn't go full send into a ditch)

I think I have one for the crawl control bs, I was also wondering if the abs module was sitting the bed because of the intermittent pulsing, it all sounds and feels electrical not mechanical

Based off the other post it could be that the ABS/VSC computer could have seen the wheel speed with the engine off. Could be the electronic brake booster you guys have for the offroads, maybe pop the hood and take a listen?

Does your truck have the auxiliary ATF cooler? Or did they do away with it like they did the Tundra? If you had to come out my way for anything I'd scan the truck for you

I wasn't sure when they ditched it in the tacoma I think 2018 they stopped in the Tundra. (I was asking since if you didn't have one and it went through the rad could be a fluid level issue). The under the truck for loose heat shields or anything like that?

I didn't notice anything, but the noise definitely sounded like it was coming from in the cab as it was noticeably louder inside near the pedals than outside by the firewall
