Found this one at a 7 11 in Mexico. I had to get it, but I don’t collect them so we opened it lol

 

A mix of new and old today. Old is 65 Mustang and 70 Camaro. Ive had these 10-12 years. The Studebaker Pick up Gasser was a recent find. This is the 4rth version I have found. The Volvo P1800 was a green Hot Wheels which received new paint, details and new wheels. Just picked up the Matchbox 75 Opel in bronze. Its Gasser material.

 

The Volvo came came out nice!!

 

Don’t know if anybody watched the second episode of that Hot Wheels show but all I can say is that poor beetle.

 

Found my childhood stash of hot wheels while visiting my parents. Too many to post but figured we could all appreciate a 1997 stamped Rod Millen Pikes Peak Celica and a 1999 stamped Rod Millen Pikes Peak Tacoma

 

Picked up this shiny blue Charger last night at Walmart. As I approached the Hot Wheels isle, I did see a box of Hot wheels that had the flaps open which got me a little perky lol. As I got closer I saw it was empty. I was like...cool, shelves should be stocked or a bucket is full for the lookin somewhere. Nope. Nothing....so unsure where the cars went besides someone's cart. If it was pillaged through, usually some are left behind.?. O'well. still, I only spent $1.97 so it was a good night. Now I had the wife with me so we left Wally world spending $105.

ive a 4yo son. i open all of mine unless they have a special meaning, or a reason i open them. heck my dad had a ton of them from 2003 he never opened and when my son was just getting into hot wheels cars i valued them, saw a few that had some value, and some cars that had some emotional value to me about my dad, and my daughter and I opened likely 100 cars and gave them to my son.

 

same! My 4 yo son and older daughter open all of them! I we enjoy them together and if they sense I really like one they’ll leave it on my desk. So thoughtful, makes me proud.

 

I hit up a couple of garage sales today. Made some decent finds for me. Ended up with a couple of cool stories and met a fella probably close to 70 with multiple rooms in his finished basement that is floor to ceiling walls covered in HWs and others. His wife also let on that another fella is having a sale tomorrow and this guy supposedly has 40,000+ cars! Guess I know where I'm going tomorrow!

 

I feel this one is missing the plow part.. I have a couple others of these and the plow is usually loose in the package so I didn't look to closely at this one until I got home. Kinda disappointed.

Unfortunately, he did not want photos taken.

The good news, for me anyways, is that he has a multitude of boxes he needs to go through then he invited me back to go through them!

 

heck yeah I've a Subaru Impreza Wrx 22b STi on my desk next to a Firebird 400 the firebird my son brought to me at work because he wanted a green Acura Integra DC2 back.

 

After doing a little research online, that particular truck doesn't appear to have a plow. At least all the ones I saw in the package and or loose are plow-less in Seattle.
