Truck is at the shop getting the rear end/driveline diagnosed. Turns out its the pinion bearings going out. I'll find out how bad it is when they crack it open and at minimum replace all the bearings.

IMG_7111.jpg Fresh meat today. 255/85/17. Basically a 35x10. Need to smash the pinch weld, but otherwise they’re fitting nicely.

Edit: and I still don’t have my bumper on. The shop that is building my trailer is adding in some gussets for me. Should have it all back together next week.

Bummer man, might as well replace them if they are going through the hassle. What shop did you take it?

I was hoping it was just U joints (couldnt even diagnose it myself since my back was wrecked from the roof work over the weekend). Noticed the sound on the drive home from up there. Took it to Desert Toy Shop..

Looking at ECGS for a built 3rd swap instead.. then I can send mine in afterwards.

We were driving around Fountain Hills when I saw what can only be described as Batman's FJ. It was a fleeting glimpse so no photo, I've tried goggling and can't find any bodykits that were similar but man this thing looked crazy. It was wider, taller and looked a hell of a lot meaner too... I'm sure it cost a pretty penny too!

Wandering if any of you lot know the FJ I'm talking about?

    That sounds pretty cool.

I wish they would have made the new FJ more along the body style of the OG one, and not discontinued it.

    But no one asked me

I am trying to think of what its called but there is a company that makes a vehicle that looks like that. It isnt a FJ but somewhat similar except taller and wider. If I remember what its called so I can google search it I will grab a photo. These are special orders only and not mass produced.

Holy crapola, that might have been it. The one I saw was all black and looked mean af. Even the wife thought it was a FJ though. But that rear end does look familiar!

    Either way Batman would approve!

Could very well be what cookiedough linked…

No, I’ve seen a few of them and it definitely wasn’t a Hummer, honestly looked like a FJ on steroids!
