I lifted my truck with 6112 up front and 5100 in the rear. I’m running the 6112 at max setting on both sides with a rear one inch block. The rear sits a half in higher than the front. I’m debating if I should put a 1/4 top hat spacer (which I think equals a 1/2 lift) or drop the rear down a half inch. I’m considering raising the front the half inch since my 285/70/17 Toyo MT with a -12 offset rub every time I turn. I did a CMC and am waiting on my new UCA Camburg C joint to arrive to hopefully help some how. Maybe a wheel spacer? The issue is the tread of my tire is rubbing against the bottom of my plastic bumper and I’m afraid the tires while win in that fire I don’t want it to crack my plastic bumbler. Anyone with advice please help! I’ve already multi tooled the fender but it’s hitting the metal bracket and bolt where the plastic bumber attaches to the fender

The reason for rubbing is that you changed the offset to a -12 effectively pushing the tire further out, and between moving the tire further out and putting on a wider than stock tire, you have essentially created a longer pivot radius for the tire. As a result, even with the CMC, you have rubbing. UCAs will not fix the rubbing issue, as they will likely set the tire further to the rear when adjusting caster as close to spec as possible.

    Two fixes
    1. change wheel offset back to stock (new rims or factory rims).
    2. go higher on the lift (probably a 3/2 front to rear) to get the required clearance for the pivot radius of the tire.

Thank you I will probably go higher like I said the rear is a 1/2 taller so I’m thinking raise the front a rear does that entail a 1/4 or 1/2 top hat spacer?

That’s what I’m hoping I’m in the possible with stock UCA once my new ones come they’ll allow more negative camber and Casper what do you recommend? Someone said -4

You are incorrect. Lift overcomes wheel offset as the center of rotation is below the lower side of the body.
