    I live in East Tn.
Best I can do is help from afar.
    But I’ll do my best.

We need to address the power issue at the EFI relay.
Let’s work on the know problems.
    One at a time.

Feel free to continue the checks.
    Especially the ground wire checks.
The ECM can not ground the EFI relay if it doesn’t have a good ground.

So another notable difference between his post and mine is I don't have a check engine light at all. Nor does the obd connect to the ECM. Maybe that's the underlying issue? Or am I missing something. I checked all the white wires with black stripe as the other thread suggested and had continuity to ground on all of them. Didn't have a test light just my multimeter.

Btw the history on the truck is I tore the engine out and rebuilt it with forged internals and pro charged it. After I set engine back in and checked to make sure everything was in its place it started right up and ran for about 20 min to do initial breaking of new gaskets. Then I let it cool off started it again and ran it till it heated up. Shut it down and came back the next day to finish installing electric fans and it never started again. This is over five years ago now

    5 years is concerning.
Rodents can do a lot in 5 years.

But you had issues 5 years ago.
So it might not be too bad.
Maybe this problem is the original problem.

Is the 20A EFI relay good?
Does it have power to the fuse?

You could also see if the 10A EFI No.2 fuse has power with key on.
I suspect it doesn’t, but if it does……..we are on to something.

Oh when it stopped running it was moved to a clean organized shop. No signs of rodents at all. And surprisingly when I was going through all the wiring. I don't actually see any damage that was repaired anywhere. Which is slightly confusing since Toyota said rodents ate it up. I think it's still the original problem

I think they didn’t have a tech competent enough, or willing, to do the diag on it.

    Figured.
We are back to diagnosing the no power from/at EFI relay.
Pull the EFI Relay and check pin 2 for a good ground.
And pin 5 for power. Key does not have to be on.IMG_0201.jpg

Ground has good continuity to battery ground, and power is reading 14v

I just got off work, I'll have to read through this more thoroughly but meanwhile get you a test light and check the EFI Relay pins as outlined in the post below.

That narrows it down to 1 of 2 things.

    1. Bad relay
    2. ECM is not commanding the relay on.

I’m betting it’s #2. Which means we got more testing to do.
Back to the ECU we go.

    This is like deja vu’…..

It like it’s the same thread over again.
We’ll get him there……..we have to.
I think we re the only ones willing to try.
Not even the dealership wants to figure this stuff out.

I say we open our own shop.
I’ll let you do all the hard stuff, and I will tell you how good of a job you’re doing while you’re doing it.
Because you know me, I don’t like doing this stuff. I just like helping other people. Actually working on vehicles……NOPE.

Problem is no one wants to touch it because it's too modified they say
But none of the electrical is modified. Just full engine build and about everything but the cab is aftermarket haha procharger, full forged internals, 4link rear, lt front the whole nine
