I like that they are different than what everyone else gets.
I had Wildpeaks before these and Open country At2 before those. Least road noise of the 3 so far and they don't have the speed wobble at 65 like Wildpeaks do.

I replaced the brake lines with Stainless steel ones while still on the OEM brakes it is was a definite change from spongy brakes.
I did EBC rotors/pads and stop tech drums upgrade last year and it's a huge difference. Both make a difference, but installing performance brakes won't give you the max performance boost with stock rubber lines.

i have the same kit + stainless lines and my brakes feel firmer and grab better but most importantly do not fade at highway speeds in hot weather. obviously you also need to do a very thorough brake fluid flush. i have a 2015 with e-booster.

just upgrading the stock pads and rotors and lines will be a huge increase in 'feel'. the big brake kits have all that, and are thicker/larger for more endurance (more heat resistance). the actual scrub surface of the pads isn't much different... you can only fit so much brake under a 16 or 17" wheel.

@Saechao503 I don't notice any big difference from stock on the pedal but they're definitely not spongy! They were recommended by a reputable brake shop and they say they help with brake performance. I'm not racing around and slamming on the brakes so I don't have that performance data. (I got 120K miles on original pads)
I have a 6speed manual and a V6 and use a trick. When slowing down I don't down-shift through all the gears. I leave it in the gear it's in except if it's in 6th, I'll downshift. I keep it in the same gear until right before stalling (I don't let it shutter or anything), then push the clutch in. I learned that from getting a Swedish drivers license (quite difficult to get). It's more effective than downshifting because there's constant motor back pressure on the driveline, better on the vehicle, and more environmentally friendly. Learn something new every day!

I’m not sure what the bonding process is, but this stuff really works! I blacked out my Coopers with Renew and Protect once a year Blak trim and tire sealant. This stuff is gold, I used it to bring back my faded, originally black but sun bleached grey fenders on my first gen, they stayed black until I sold it two years later. It stains, tape off anything you don't want touched by it, and I recommend watching a few YouTube videos on how to use it properly. It’s not shiny which I really like, just a deep rich black. They have gloss and satin overlay solutions to layer with (I’m good without, but that’s just me) and a dash protective treatment as well. Will not bond properly if there is a silicon based product already on the applicable surface, if so you will need to clean/scrub/remove first.

Little bit of this and that
Rolled over 149500mi, gave it a wash and 303'd the mirrors and fender flares. Not perfect but cleans up decent.

Finally fixed the clank in my front end.....

Now all I hear is the transmission whine, and throw out bearing chirp

Conclusion: somehow I was missing the pad springs/clips/whatever the hell from my front right driver's side. Doubled up on them and the clank went away.

I bet that’s where my front end clank is coming from. I’ll have to look into that. If the sun ever comes back out.

I hear a not a clank, but a squeak almost every time I depress the break pedal... I can't figure out where it's coming from.

And of course the chirp of my original TOB.... (259K miles)

Appreciate it! This stuff does wonders for faded plastic and rubber, will bring back to a new like appearance, just tape things off and be thorough when applying it. Here’s a great YouTube video on how to apply it properly.
