For the price and added ugliness factor, not sure how these guys haven't gone out of business lol. (no offense OP )

If these were sold around their actual value of a few hundred bucks, I'd get the appeal. But hell....$1,800 MSRP is out of this world.

There will always be a market for those who prefer to inflate their toys.

I get that. Considering all the camper slide ins are ugly too which also destroys my payload limit, this fits my needs.

    its an online product maybe?

Ok, price and ugly factor aside, which is personal preference and means nothing. A bed topper is like 3 grand? 5? I dunno.

I like that you can put it on yourself AND how easily it straps on to the truck.

Yeah, online as are all of the RTT's. But people return them to stores, and then we get to deal with them. I have a coworker that is very good at matching these returns to interested buyers - I'm giving him a heads-up on this one!

I’m glad others mentioned the ugly factor. That was my first thought, but I hesitated to say it. Also, I wouldn’t want to put anything valuable in the bed when someone could just use a knife to get quick entry.

All campers and toppers are ugly to me. Lol. It’s a functional space for sleeping, not security.

You’re fine to speak your mind.

OK then I'll say it too, that thing looks atrocious!

It kind of reminds me of this interweb classic.

this post gets it. Why drop $4k on something you have to seal up and have zero headroom plus use your neighbors to remove/replace. Don’t get me started on the cost of a decent $2k RTT which takes over your entire bed space. Cheers!!

I wonder if you can open up your bakflip cover and then install this behind the bakflip?

Cool idea, but a little strange looking on the truck. And I feel like it would blow all over at speed, but surely they made it in a way that it's sturdy and stable, right?

Baklfip cover open up and stands against the back of the cab. It would be convenient if you could open up the cover and then install the inflatable topper without having to take off the backflip cover.

It’s physics with a downward force. I have added two more side straps not included in the photos - 6 cam tie downs.

not in the cards. You need direct access to bed tie downs. Or cut the cover which isn’t ideal.

I mean, aside from the insulation benefits of the inflatable topper, I can't see any justification for buying this over a Softopper aka chef's kiss.
