That reminds of the time, long, long ago. My wife and kids had gone to Dell City, Texas to see my uncle. It’s a tiny little farming town with no bus service, or much of anything else.
This guy who had been working with my uncle wanted a ride to civilization. I only had a Chevy Luv at the time. He said he would ride in the back of the truck even though it was winter and cold as hell. He was like a frozen popsicle when we got to Carlsbad.

It was best with a rollbar, you could stand up facing forward holding the rollbar with one hand beer in the other hand.
