I prefer to have the last of my 4 be all Friday

 

So I've been looking into some different sizes/materials/cost. I did 8ft sticks just b/c everything other than 1x1 20ft aluminum($49) and steel($81)said call. I'm thinking for the little bit of extra cost, the 1/2 thicker wall would be nice.

Phillip, have you got a fab shop around? I would see if you can find 1 because they may have what your looking for and weld you up a frame to get you started.

 

I'm sure there's one around, but the extra cost is something I can't afford I bought @Brian422 's old welder, but never started teaching myself how to weld. I can braze aluminum(same thing DualEx did for his camper).

 

Well sounds like your project is almost done.

 

I'm just hoping I stick with it. I have a tendency to change my mind with my underwear (camper shell, trailer, RTT, etc)
Right now, this seems to be the best fit for what I'm looking for.

I was able to price out 20ft sticks

1x1x0.065 10 for$494
1.5x1.5x0.065 10 for $537

For that little extra, I'm leaning towards the 1.5"

 

That welder can only weld steel anyways.
