My garage does a killer job of keeping the snow out of my truck, too. Too bad I have to go to work. :pout:

    Looks peaceful.

I didn't know you folks had big rocks out there, thought it was all spacious skies & amber waves of grain. :notsure: (I don't get out much...)

My truck sits all winter, I didn't even start it for about 4 months. Battery Tender FTW.

I have several quarts of minwax stain that I bought 20 years ago at a deep discount. I think it was frozen (hence the discount), but I've stained dozens of projects with it and it's never let me down. I used two different types of these, then coated everything with raw linseed oil for food safety in case they ever actually get used by someone.
Yep, then sanded a fair bit.

Old timers used linseed oil for a lot of things - tool handles and wooden ladders immediately come to mind.

Almost 20 years ago I painted my shed with linseed oil "fortified" paint, it still looks quite good. Unfortunately I can't find the paint anymore.

I am glad it seems the worst of the Smoke and smell is gone.

I have never seen the air this bad .

Like the neighbors barn has just burned down from the hay being baled to wet.

All the things that were in the barn. I think this was much worse.

I worked at a linseed oil plant many years ago. Only place I knew of where you didn’t need a hanger for coveralls. They just stood up by themselves once you shuck’d ‘em. :muscleflexing:

Morning, all. Pulled something in my back yesterday and couldn't get to sleep last night then to top it off woke up with a nice headache.

Might as well make it all worse and get the lawn mowed. Then I need to get some plants planted in the landscaping and replace 2 lights that are rusting in the kids bathroom. And wash some clothes. :der:

    Hope you get feeling better!
Weather forecast called for all day rain but haven't gotten but a few drops here n there.
Anyway with all the rain we suppose to get I kind of plan on a lazy day. Figure I might go to Horrible Fright store, they extend last weekend sale.
I got home from work yesterday and entire yard was mowed! I ask the wife so she must really like the new Zero Turn....yep! She says
Maybe I'll get a try it someday

These tactics have never worked for me. :pout: My wife and kids say, "you always get it done before we get a chance". Which is... kinda sorta, a little true,... but not entirely.
