Well, the Garage 56 group finished Le Mans. Second to last car to take the checker but finished, which is admirable given the difficulty of the task of just finishing. JJ kept it off the fence (good job by him). Champagne all around I guess. Given the likely unlimited budget of the players involved, and the fact that cup cars are built to be bulletproof, I would have been surprised if the car had suffered a major mechanical failure.

To be fair, they were leading the entire GT class before having to change gearboxes. They also changed brakes. I also heard this was only the second time a Garage 56 entry has actually finished.

I agree, they did a fantastic job. Leading full blown GTE race cars with a modified Cup car at the 20 hour and 9 minute mark is incredible. Last years 54 entrant, or perhaps a few years ago, was a hydrogen powered joke.

The NASCAR crew done extremely well as first time entrants as you could see by the lack of chairs (to sleep on) for the crew. Cracked me up, they looked like a forest fire crew after a tough 20 hour fight. A Toyota and Ford entrant would be great stuff.
