ASSHOLE PARKING

Well clearly he was trying to get inside before he pooped

 

Hashed place is for handicapped spot to his left, to drive to the parallel parked HC spot. Does it make sense? In essence, this mental midget blocked a legit HC spot.

 

Out for an early morning walk when I randomly came across this. Not really asshole parking but...

It is kinda an asshole parking job but more of a dumbass driving job - either way

True story:
I worked at a national wildlife refuge and these kids pulled there car up to the canal in a similar manner.. those dumb shits snatched a 3-4 foot gator and tossed it in the back of their car...

We called our LEO and they were promptly arrested but WTF are you gonna do with a gator that size?? And it is phucking FL, there are gators everywhere - ya don't need to snatch one

You never know WTF people gonna do

 

Or if I'm a Walmart employee have it towed at owners expense......we need our carts, that's not a parking space.

 

I've done that, maybe not by that much, but I do it to protect my doors. We live in an asshole society where leaving a note for damaging someone's door never happens anymore. So I will protect my truck. Granted I almost never park in the front row like that, I always park at the back of the lot where its empty and make the walk.

 

Based on the totality of the circumstances I'm going to lean on the fact that this mailman was:
1. Lazy
2. Using the trees for shade
3. Clearly illegally parked

The really insane thing is, on other side of those trees is about 3-5 visitor spaces in the front row of parking - right in front of the building.

I just realized something, is that a Mercedes van being used by the USPS? The bankrupts USPS buying Mercedes vans?

 

One of those blew a stop sign pulled out in front of me proceeded to the next intersection, stopped and made a left turn the other week. They drive as bad as the school bus drivers.

 

You got a point there, I think I posted earlier here about the guy who nailed the door on my wife's Rav4 (unknowingly when I was 12 feet behind him) and tried to leave, then lied right to my face when I politely said something to him.

 

Glad you caught him. I would have taken his plate down and tried to nail him with the cops or security footage if there was any available from a business. People are extreme assholes, so take extreme measures to hold them accountable.

But yeah that's people nowadays. Lie about the most obvious stuff, even when caught red handed. Another thing I do is, when someone pulls up next to me and we're both about to exit the car, I let them get out first so I can see if they do damage my door. Or I just move to a parking spot where nobody is around. For whatever reason, I can park in BFE, and someone will park RIGHT NEXT TO ME. An entire empty lot, RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Clown stuff.

Yup, was waiting to cross the aisle on foot and heard/saw it. He said OOPS and giggled with his buddies, then closed the door. I'd already taken a pic of the car. Crossed the aisle and as he started backing out pointed to my car, he rolls down the window

Him: WHAT?
Me: Sir, you just hit my car
Him: I don't think so
Me: Sir, I was standing right across the aisle. I heard and saw the door hit..heard you say OOPS and giggle..then saw you close the door.
Him: *Annoyed* What you do you think I'm supposed to do about it, huh?
Me: I'm not telling you to do anything. I'm going to lock myself in my vehicle and call the police.

Guy was about 30 or so with 2 of his buddies, one who was glaring and flipping me off the whole time. Wasn't about to waste time on that especially as the world was 2 years ago.

Officer shows up, sees my damage, gets the papers and gives me his information. Surprise, he was driving his mommy's car. I said to the officer "I'll say it to you, you can decide if you say it to him or not. We could have done this on our own and I'm sorry we had to get you out here. He refused to own up even after I told him I saw the whole thing"

Grrr..needless to say I now have dash cams.

 

I mean the other option is to damage their car in return with a kick or a punch but then that just escalates things. You did the right thing.

 

True, plus the fact he was driving mommy's car he wouldn't care b/c mommy will fix it.

2-3 of them and one of me, I wouldn't like my chances if it got to throwing down. That said, 25 year old me might have considered it for a moment but I was a lot crazier and drunker back then. That also doesn't get my wife's ride fixed..$1200 later on his insurance

On top of it, I sure wasn't trying to get close to people as our world was in Sept 2021 (if you know what I mean).
