    Notes for future me:

    1 O.D. - .250 = .50 I.D.
    9/16 - 18 = 33/64

Cooling fans are installed for both compressors.

    20230617_173833.jpg

Made partitions to keep things off the compressor, and give me a place for the hose and inflator, where they aren't always getting buried.

    20230618_180740.jpg

Finished the LSPV delete with the Wilwood Manual Proportioning Valve.

Decided the .120 wall rack slider wasn't up to the abuse?
.250 will def be a lot stiffer

Ya... I kept thinking about it and decided to just change it now. It's a really simple swap. If it weren't for having to drill and tap the ends of the rod, it would take 5 minutes.

With drilling and tapping it only took about 45. The .250 wall is going to be the ticket.

Took it to the woods today... Everything's seems to be playing nice. The LBJs are still REALLY stiff. That makes it a little... "different" but that will wear in.

Nice. Could go to chromoly tube too if you wanted to take it up another level.

That seems to be the concencus with the TC LBJ's and being stiff. I'm curious how long it'll take until they feel better

1 inch x .250 DOM Should be more than enough. Anything stronger than that would bend/break all the other parts associated. (Example, the rack slider is only held on by the four M10 sway bar bolts)

Whatever happens to bend that would have to have been a force that would have been able to bend the steering rack in the first place... now it would have to bend the rack and the rack slider.

How did you drill out and tap the 1/4 wall?

Pulled the bumpstops and readjusted them... just need to bolt them back on tomorrow. Repainted them.

Pulled the front transfer case shifter and cleaned all the grease out, re-installed (found out that spring, plate, etc should NOT be greased... makes it easier for it to pop out of gear)

So... here's the NEW list after the last trip. :frusty:

Need to bleed the brakes again. Steep downhills, the brakes seemed like a suggestion.

Need to look in to the front t-case shifter. It was A LOT better, but still popped out once.

Need to check the motor mounts and make sure they are tight. (possibly the reason I'm still having issue with front case shifter)

Need to replace heater valve. It blew when the truck overheated.

The truck over heated because the fan caught on the shroud and stopped turning. The combination of body lift + solid mounts makes the fan too low relative to the shroud. Need to replace + relocate the shroud. (shroud needs to be lowered)

Passenger CV seal is fucking leaking again.

Need to replace the pressure switch on the passenger side compressor. It only works when I hit it.

    Throwing 5 check engine codes.
3 evap codes = new gas cap and I need to force the filler neck up more (body lift)
1 catalyst code that is intermittent. No drivablity issues, no egg smell... pretty sure it's 0² sensors. Ordered both.
Trans code = I think I just need to check fluid level. This one was just a pending code.

Need to space the back of the front skid about 1/4 inch to give a little bit more clear to the rack slider.

And... I need to replace the 2 tires I tore up by being lazy and drove on too much with a shit alignment.

Ya... it is a lot of work. Getting a bit tiresome. This may stop us from doing our July trip if the parts take too long to get here.

For the front case popping out, look at the heavy duty detent spring that MC sells. I have one in both the front case and rear case and the shifting is real stiff and never pops out now.
