From time to time Toyota has certain models available at 0% for 60 months.

 

For anywhere it gets below 40(??? Don't know the threshold) yeah it's a must. They run fine on 10W30 though.

Might I suggest an EV

 

The Federal and State rebates are upwards of $10-15k

 

Unless you're pouring the oil directly into your exhaust manifold, it won't kill your cats

If you play it right doing a single-payment lease on an EV, you can take advantage of said rebates or a significantly higher residual value which makes your 3 year investment cheaper than gas and maintenance on a standard vehicle.

 

I've always wanted one, they were good for about 100miles of range new, I bet with modern motors and controllers, hell even a lipo pack, they'd probably really rip

 

But then I'm stuck with the stupid infotainment nonsense that's on all modern cars

 

Oh but that wouldn't be applicable to you and I; more for someone that needs a maintenance-free vehicle, for stupid cheap

Uh oh, i had 10w-40 in mine over the winter when it got down to freezing temps. I hope that didn’t cause any damage.

 

Well I’m pretty sure I must be burning some past the stem seals. I have 10w40 high mileage in it now.
