I finally got some money from my accident... trying not to let it burn a hole in my pocket. Hopefully be adding another bike to the garage at some point this year

 

welp, my life is over for the foreseeable future...

I just put a large deposit down and yet still gg borrow money for my full kitchen and bathroom remodel coming later this summer in August

yea, life is rather bleak at the moment... there will be no nautical vessel in my near future thats for sure.

but whatever, I knew this would happen though which is why having the backyard pit bike track was a requirement when buying the house

I had a Triple in white, the 1050 model. It was an amazing street fighter, and made for a killer little commuter. It also fit on my trailer sideways which was sweet.

My friend just did something similar. Bought a new AC/HVAC for his house. $16k

now i knooooow i said no more moneys on the bike for awhile but i was talking to a buddy at work and a friend of his makes conversion kits for dirtbikes with conventional forks to go inverted. he has a lot in stock for other bikes but no drz400 but he said he does do custom stuff soooooo might have to ride over and talk to him about getting that done with the old girl and give it a modern suspension!

I got quite a bit of work done on the bike over the weekend. New OZ forged wheels with superlite sprocket, lightweight rotor and titanium nuts, fresh stickers, upgraded suspension linkage, chain maintenance and another smattering of random titanium hardware with some safety wiring done. I’m pretty much ready for my track day at Laguna Seca next month!

 

Usually, no. But it is 23 years old so 27k miles is less than average and the bike looks to be in great condition.
