That's pretty sweet. I have almost all the pieces to make mine all carbon fiber, just need to figure out what to do with the tank.

Got a question about bilsteins. On the 5165 14” travel there’s two option, option one is a 170/60 and option 2 is a 255/70. I imagine that those numbers correspond to dampening but I’m not able to find any information on it. I’m assuming the lower numbers will be plusher tho…would I be correct in that thinking?

I run 255/70 valving on my 7100’s and it pretty good. 170/60 would probably be way too soft. If you have he money, I would go 7100 over 5100 being that you can revalve and a rebuild them.

Edit: the m7100s are not that much more than the 5160s

Edit#2 which ones are you running? Travel and what not?

Ya know, Memorial Day WE I went up to Flag on Sunday, took the scenic route home through Williams and Prescott to avoid the traffic on 17. So much nicer. Or even Lake Mary Rd, 50 isn't always bad.

yea, if you have the time there is slower and more scenic ways up and down. When I was traveling all over I started to find them and take them. Just because it was so much less stressful.

Damn yard work? I really need to get out and do that! Mine was good. Did some garage work friday night. Went and installed a window in a tuff shed and went to the elk foundation dinner saturday. Won a new pistol. Then some golf sunday but was windy as fuck.

Hate yard work, but we have put it off for so long. Fuck hard AZ clay ground too, had to use my roto hammer to break up the clay.. Planted 15 different plants and also set 6-8' posts for a long ass trellis.
When we button it all up I'm throwing a Bbq party. You should come!

Do you have to be a member of the Elks to go to the dinners?? Thought it was a n older guy thing, I do like me some raffles! Good score on the new pistola.

Yeah we had 2 pines in our yard blow over. So now its just a big hole and weeds that need to be pulled and new trees planted. Not looking forward to it. Fuck yes I will be there for the bbq!

And it was a fundraising dinner. My company sponsored and bought a corporate table. No need to be a member if you want to go they charge you like 60 bucks for the dinner then you can play all the raffles and auctions. Fun night. I love doing all those dinners up here just because of all the prizes.

Weekend was too damn short, but good. Played a round at Toka Sticks yesterday, and back to the grind.

Replaced a failed rear hatch latch cable on the Sequoia...TWICE

New cable had just enough tension to keep it from unlocking reliably, so took it all back apart to tweak it o_O

At least swapping out the 3rd is somewhat simple. Too bad you gotta pull the damn shoes too.. Let me know when the new one shows up and if you'd like some help, Mod days are fun!

I still havent gotten to my CV, If i had another daily the Taco would sit like your beast. Not enough time, I'd like to add another weekend day please or just make monday part of it and start the week on Tuesday..
