    That was great:thumbsup:
If you don't mind I want to use that song on my anniversary, or maybe before.

Survived the weekend! Had some new facia boards put in place, then *I* was tasked with painting. I didn't mind the flat edges, but crawling up/down ladders and then stretching the right shoulder up that high was tough. Only a few drops of paint in my face from the shaking right hand. I tried the left, and I just can't do that well enough to paint to the edge and not get the darker edging.

Went to a Saturday night poker party with a bunch of guys I used to work with, probably haven't seen them in 10-15 years. It was good to catch up! I only lost $40, but more than made up for that in pizza and bourbon.

Sunday I went all MTgirl and napped away until about 2 . . .

Day started out with going over to the neighbor and cut up $2200.00 worth of maple plywood for kitchen cabinets. Got home and got sleeping bag, sleeping pad and pillow out to air out. Thought I'd have time to cut some grass. While doing that I get a text from my foreman. I.T. issues still going on, don't come to work.
So I ended up getting all the grass cut and trimmed, plus a half dozen other little things.
I have table already set for dinner. Texted Mary and asked her to pick up some chicken, mashed potatoes and rolls. Thought it would be nice to have a easy and nice dinner together.
Now, should I take a nap or sit out on the deck and have a cold beverage.

Don’t underestimate the importance of naps.
If I could go back in time and give my younger self any advice it would be to not fight so much when mom wanted me down for a nap. Cuz one day - POOF! - no more naps.

This is horrible news. The only reason I’ve stayed here as long as I have is because it’s cheap. Guarantee if they sell my rent will double instantly

Those temps remind me of late Spring / early Summer temps in the High Desert of Socal

That sucks !!! , hopefully your old landlord will put in a good word on you being a good tenant to the new owner

Definitely don't follow her for fireside snack recipes

Wait until you get older and the naps come back whether you want one or not.

    Hotter there than here.
