It just doesn't make sense lol. He's selling a dodge dakota transmission in another ad so it's like okay maybe it's not stolen? But then if it wasn't stolen he'd just get a new title for it.

I wish I could get a loan with a decent interest rate to buy a 15-20k Land Cruiser with good maintenance records. That's probably cheaper than buying a cheap one and getting stuck with all the deferred maintenance.

 

I bought the truck through Toyota in San Diego, the financing ended up going through Wells Fargo...which was interesting because it actually took them awhile to find a place that would do the deal I signed on an (at the time) 12 year old vehicle.

 

If your credit ain't excellent, don't bother getting a loan.

And especially for you, don't get a loan on something out of warranty.

 

yeah I wouldn't finance an older vehicle again, knowing what I know now and all. I got lucky I never seriously fucked up the truck on the trail while the bank still owned it lol.

 

all these personal loan ads on FB look so friendly and attainable, surely they have my best interests at heart

at the time I didn't, didn't really start doing that until we moved into this house about 5 years ago. Which is why I was also stupid enough to let them sell me on the 3rd party warranty that proved to be worth absolutely nothing lol.

Lessons were learned

 

Buy my Tracker. It's the same thing, but shit. I'll even throw the Toyota wheels back on it, so it's rainbow shit
And you get a free 6 month warranty if you keep it near the treyus30 dealership
