Start stop chrome ring cover?

I’m working on my chrome delete in my ‘23 Tacoma. I’m having a hard time finding a cover for the chrome ring around the start/stop button. I’ve found some cheap ones that go on like a sticker (similar to the vent ring covers), but none in black. The only black I can find is an AJT black ring that replaces the chrome ring and requires some disassembly. I don’t want to have to do that. I’m just looking for a black stick on cover. Any links?

Thank you! I only need the start button vinyl sticker so hoping I don’t need to fork over $26 for the whole set. Contacted the seller.

 

Take the chrome ring off, soak it in bleach for 10 days to remove the chrome and paint it whatever color you want. However, you said you did not want to do any disassembly.

Meso customs. You might have to wait for black to come back in stock, or go with a different color.

 

I pulled off the chrome start button trim while it was still installed. Just pried it off in a few seconds.

Am I missing something?

 

This is the way. I only had to soak mine overnight and disassembly was easy. I don't think it even required any tools.

 

You could be right. I checked on YouTube and all the videos I could find, like this Meso one, show disassembling the front panel to change out the rings.

Did you use Bleach or something else? I used a pool supply bleach, I believe 10% concentration or more, more than the normal clothes cleaning strength. I've done all the chrome in the vehicle, and nothing took less than a week with changing the bleach daily.
