Where to buy OEM TRD Pro grill

Also forgot to mention that they needed a reason why I was “replacing the grill on my Pro”. The dealer said they had to enter in that info for Toyota to release the grill.

 

I was able to get the grey letters without the camera (PT228-35180) for $170 from EB toyota parts. I just gave them a vin for a trd pro I found on copart that was totaled and said I was rebuilding it.

 

Update on my side. My order seems to be going through. They asked for a reason and I provided one. Now I am waiting on a back order status for the -20 grille...

 

Did you ever get yours? I also placed an order on the -20 grill but have not received an update.

 

Keep getting updates that it is on back order. But stated once they get it, they will ship..

 

I have a new one without camera mount I'd like to get rid of.

 

black or Grey letters ? With or without garnish? Pm me the details I was about to order one.

 

I received mine from Camelback Toyota. It took approximately 3 weeks with VIN provided.

 

Have your local dealer do a search and find one in your area.

 

Just received a notification that my grill is ready to ship from Discount Parts Monster.

. Where are you ordering the oem garnish from?

 

I bought a cheap Amazon garnish I am going to try first..will update with results once it’s in..

 

FYI, toyotapartsdeal will replace PT228-35200-20 (black) with PT228-35200-AA (silver). I caught it in time and in the process of cancelling now since I want the black. There is no mention that they've discontinued it or that it's being replaced and I was never notified. I only noticed the change when I checked the status order this morning.


edit - successfully canceled. I found the black grille at autonation south austin and just placed an order for the black grille. fingers crossed

second edit - I did NOT need to provide a VIN, but maybe I cancelled my order before they could ask?

I just called my local dealer about a grill (PT228-35200-20). They could price match online for $140 shipped and pick it up in a day or 2.

 

I bought one from vipih.com Ended up costing less than $100 with some promo and another $25 for the garnish. The supplied screws for the letters sucked so I used some #6's, but the rest was fine. Fit perfectly.

 

That’s a great price! I opted to have mine shipped so all in was $168
