I stopped at Menominee MI and got some lunch. I was aiming for Marinette, but before I even knew it, I was among the yoopers. If you look carefully on my bumper, you’ll see my air pressure gauge. It’s been there since airing up at Wabeno this morning lol.

So I was playing around with Gaia maps and discovered a few track of others that have been in the area. If nothing else, it shows trails that others have made it through recently. That can help with planning future trips.

There is an old African proverb describing how formidable those trail limos are…. Goes something like: “When Tacoma longbois high-center, it is the ground that suffers”. Or something like that.

Maybe that was about elephants, not sure now. Either way, those trucks got it done!

    It sure was!
We did not go very far on the trails, but we certainly got the most smiles per miles in a long time.

The closure on 55552 ended up being a good thing, in a way. It motivated us to go explore some new territory, which ended up being very cool!

If there is another trip around August I would definitely take a few days off to attend!
