    Hi all,

My key fob stopped working recently. The buttons don't work, and I need to hold the fob up to the start-button for the truck to turn on. The LED still blinks when I press the buttons, but nothing happens.

I didn't see anything in the manual about this and the guides I saw online require a physical key on the ignition in order to reset the fob.

Sounds like the fob just needs a new battery. I don't think a reset procedure is required nor am I aware of one.

I replaced the battery last night and checked the contacts for corrosion. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

    Maybe try another battery then.

If you tried a second battery, you might take some steel wool to where the coin battery sits
(even if corrosion is not visible). I had Fob trouble and steel wool did the trick.

Also, if you have a second Fob, does the second Fob also not work?
