it’s just strange to me because it feels all front end, steering wheel wobbles like crazy and whole truck shakes. I’ve never experienced that before this truck. My first thought was maybe something is loose in the front end (she’s taken a few hard hits up front) but everything is good up front from what I can see

Have you been parking next to any Jeeps lately?

Simple trans fluid check can rule out the TC...

Nope no jeeps lol, I stay away from those things.

I’ll check my trans fluid later this evening but I’m curious how a torque converter would cause the steering wheel to shake rapidly.

I'm not saying it's the issue...as I understand it, the TC shudder is more like driving over large rumble strips.

I am betting a warped rotar. Might not be active at slow speed or when they arent heated up. Mine were doing it only at high speeds or after driving around town for a while.

I'd guess rotor warp or you might need an ecgs bushing in your diff if you haven't already. Also, check your u joints on your front drive shaft. Other than a loose caliper bolt or worn out lca bushing .... the only other thing I would think of would be a trans mount or broken motor mount. Those would display other issues or shudders though(I would think) under acceleration rather than braking.

Edit: I found my motor mount to frame brake/crack because of a shudder during breaking. Fyi. In acceleration it moved the driver side motor mount back to original. During braking the motor mount would push itself into the frame and shudder.

Back in England if you pass someone you have to move over to the slow lane, you can't just sit in the middle or fast lane, it's illegal. Also illegal to undertake someone. It drives me nuts when I see people weaving, or if you overtake a semi that's sat in the second lane but you need to check over your right shoulder before pulling back over because of some numnut deciding to undertake the semi...

Its also a lot harder to get a license and insurance there. Here in the states you get a license just being alive.

Insurance on my first car was for a 1984 MK1 golf, 1.5L and it cost me 1,000 GBP in 1997 for the year!

Why is it my fatass can spend all day walking around in the woods looking for something big and brown to shoot and my feet feel fine. Spend 7 hours standing still in a bus teaching someone how to drive and I feel like I have bloody stumps attached to my calves?

I have many spots in AZ that I will not publish in a forum. But it is very subjective. I enjoy finding 800 year old ruins and petroglyphs that few have seen.

Unfortunately in this day and age bad things happen to cool places posted on the internet.
Nothing like seeing graffiti over petroglyphs.

Shit I'm not even posting average spots that I enjoy and can almost always bank on them being available.

Sometimes when the front brakes get overheated, like going down a long hill and using the brakes a lot, the rotors get overheated and they will warp, but then go back to being true whenever they cool down. Sounds to me like that might be what you are experiencing. If I'm going down a long hill, like, for instance, the hill on I-17 from Sunset point toward Phoenix, I usually put the trans in a lower gear and hold it there to keep the brakes from overheating.
