Any tips on keeping the 4H and 4L seals lubricated and working properly when I won't be using it for 3 or 4 months? I know driving it on dry pavement is a no-no I've also heard not to drive it on wet pavement either. The manual says to drive it for up to 10 miles on 4H to keep it in use. Any idea how to do that when ur not using it? I

Go on a strait stretch of lower speed road and engage 4WD. Not going to hurt a thing. There's a spot in my commute like that, I'll engage/disengage 4WD a couple times every couple weeks or so. You can engage it on dry pavement as long as it's strait, no turns. For 4LO just get into a larger parking lot and let it shift in and out of HI/LO range. I typically do this in my driveway. Done it this way on all 4 of my Tacoma's.

Also, welcome and congrats on the new truck!

Line it up strait, engage 4HI. Let it get into 4HI (may take moving a couple feet) and then go to neutral (or press in clutch in my case) and let it shift into 4LO. Move forward and backwards 40-50 feet (don't need to do this, but I like to feel the torque from it), then stop, go to neutral, shift into back into 4HI. You can repeat this process or just go back to 2WD.
