I ordered a tailgate lock, easy clicking and ordering. In true interweb magic it appeared quickly at my door. All good things.

 

Ordered a prinsu from TL . Had some tech questions after the order but I figured someone would respond . I’ve emailed them twice . No response .. come on guys get a phone number and help a brother out . Not impressed. I should have just ordered direct.

 

Dude TacomaLifestyle is absolutely garbage. Been emailing them for a very long time to cancel a part I ordered 2 months ago.

The fucking part just shipped. Now I need to do a charge back or some shit because I'm not paying a fucking restocking fee for an item that I've been trying to cancel since before it was even made.

 

Tagging you so you see this. Why do you suck so much? It has to be on purpose. Went from enjoying your company and your site to just wanting to shit on you every chance I can get. I am absolutely fucking livid.

 

I would like to know when this grill release is coming out. Been months now and nothing.

 

TacomaLifestyle being terrible with communication? Seams to be a pretty common issue with them.

Lol, I'd just like to bring it to everybody's attention that Kurt posted that OVER 3 month's ago (March 8th), about emails he sent prior to that they ignored, and he is JUST NOW (June 14th) getting a response. It's not "abnormal" for them like they claim. It's the norm. I just want to make sure nobody reading this down the line misses that it's been month's they've ignored him, or gets schmoozed over by the PR talk going on. They are putting on a show for the public. That's all this is.

My order # is 89960. I don't need a personal call, I need a prepaid return label sent to me, and a full refund issued to me for the Grill $389, and the $15 add on outer perimeter rivet's that I would need to install it with, which (I'd like to note) still don't have an estimated delivery date since April. No I don't want you to deduct a "restocking fee". I have been trying to cancel this order since before the item was even manufactured. I want a full refund, then I will shut up and go away.

It's over 2 weeks past due to ship, You have not provided ANY communication about it, and I'd really prefer to do business with a different vendor.

(To those reading this, I know it sound's like I'm coming in hot, and I am, but I have literally sent these dudes so many emails. This isn't out of the blue, this is after a very long string of ignored communication's and terrible customer service. Funny how being called out and made a public spectacle is the only way to get them to talk and "Make thing's right") I would have very much preferred to have had all this handled a long time ago with the multiple friendly and civil email's I have been sending them.

What's the deal with the new grill that's been on hold waiting for the release. How much longer?

Yes , I came to the forums about a year ago to poke around, I went from a jeep wrangler to a tacoma last year after spending over a decade with jeeps , its nice to find this community.
Shame my first like "aftermarket" mods had to go this route but we will see what shakes out.

For my .02; I ordered a $70 item for my Taco and it did take a lot longer than I expected it to arrive. Admittedly there were communication issues but ultimately I got what I ordered. I think the fact consumers are already used to be treated as faceless drones by the big companies, makes the difficulties of feeling ignored worse when it's by a smaller "mom & pop", especially one that's supposed to cater to an enthusiast population. That said, shit happens and I'm more than willing to give Tacoma Lifestyle another shot in the future assuming the breakdown in communication was truly a one time deal.

 

Personal recomendation. When you want to buy an item talk to the company that makes the product and see who is the provider closest to you so you can support local business and avoid the shit show. Or buy directly from the seller of said product. Cheers!

 

I had to do a return with you guys and y’all were great. If I needed anything else I’d definitely buy again.
