I’ve only got 2-2.5”. Forgot to measure beforehand so I’m not sure exactly how much, but it’s nothing crazy. Your angles are definitely lower than what mine look like.

And I looked up the specs for both tires, yours and mine. The listed height and width is exactly the same for both, so maybe it won’t be too bad. And I’m interested to see how they do as well. I chose them because they are light for their size, 49 lbs a tire.

Now she’s looking good. Just have to spend some time making some room for the tires. They rub at full lock.

Did pinch weld mod and cut fender liners. Still rub at full lock, driver side is the worst. Full bump is even worse. Seems to be hitting the corner of my fender. Gonna try messing with the caster on the alignment, see if the I can get some forward movement from the tires to clear the rear of the fender.

    Might attempt to revive this….

have an 04 currently has hockey pucks that are being taken off and switched to a 5100/combo. I have some old black steels that I believe are 0 offset with 267/75s and picked up some OEM steels that I believe are +25 offset. I was going to build up some 255/85s on one set and was curious if the +25 will give me clearance on the UCA?

the 255/85s read to be skinnier that that the 265/75s but height plays a factor with being near the UCA.

Sorry can't comment on the UCA but I think you're going to rub frame pretty badly at full lock. I have -12 offset, 4BS on 8" wheel and still rubbed frame when the tires were new.

I think the negative offset may be the reason for the rub but I have never ran this size on a taco.

I know with the Tundra the more you pushed out the more problems surfaced.

I just found out that the steels are 30 offset not 25. Others are running on steel wheels but I dont know if they are running them on spare steel wheels that might have a different offset (15?)

Positive offset will make you rub more on the frame. Negative offset will make you rub on the fender / pinch weld. With my setup, I had to do a fairly aggressive pinch weld mod.

Big fan of pizza cutters! best way to go IMHO.
I ran a set of Toyo ATll 235/86 R16 Es they were great, seemed a bit tippy ( but that could be because my truck has no anti sway bars) next up will be a set of Falken 255/85-R16 LT E range MT. Kinda beastly, pretty burly tires. still running the stock steel spare wheels 16" x 7" should be interesting once I get the other two back from being blasted and painted

A test look, waiting for the pic I sent to the email to come in. this is during the brake replacement, and still waiting for a front axle.

    Always something it seems...
