I had a buddy get me all the stuff from Napa for a major tune up and timing belt for my '02. The plugs that came out of the truck were regular single strap.....but Napa swears that Toyota recommends the double strap (they are pretty sharp parts guys). It does idle a bit rough for a Toyota I think. Anybody heard of Toyota going to the double strap PLug ? or am I on the "late train" ??

I've never heard it called a "double strap" before, aren't they referred to as "double grounded"?

The 3.4 V6 takes dual electrode plugs. Single electrode plugs have been known to cause the engine to not run as well. In some cases, a CEL can be thrown.

NO! They have had issues of cracking. NOT worth the money. Best performance I have found (so far), has been with the OEM Denso nickle/copper plugs.
