Yup. For the low low price of $75 a month they will kill all the bugs, and then someone else wants to sell me a security system, but since I’m new they’ll give me a bunch of equipment for free right out of the gate. Meh.

@Empty_Lord how common are head gasket issues on the 2gr-fe? I figured they’d be rare but the guy makes it sound like it’s not uncommon. Apparently it’s more of an issue up in the rust belt, so hopefully my GFs 2013 Avalon will be ok down here.

we had a cable/fiber optic sales lady come by our house earlier this week around 5:30pm, I saw her a couple houses down and pulled the curtains to our door and front windows because I just don't even want to bother with them. I'm in the kitchen and I hear her knock anyway, Sofia yells that someone's at the door and I tell her to ignore it....next thing I know she's got the curtains pulled back and this lady is interacting with her through the window, I'm like fuck me I can't pretend I'm not here now lol.

I hate sounding rude but I just tell them straight up before they have a chance to get into it that I'm not interested, don't want them wasting their drawn out pitch and both our time when I have zero interest

 

I actually just read a story about brain eating amoebas so I’m probably not gonna dive into the lake this weekend in Kansas. It’s super rare tho so probably not a concern.
