Understandable, I didn’t have an owners manual either.
No offense to OP, but he obviously has internet access.
So he has access to a manual. (That’s how I got the information)

Maybe he just didn’t know you can download it for free?

I don't know if there's such a thing as a 5 lug 3rd Gen, but my truck is 2WD and has 6 lugs, as was the 2009 that I had before. But yes, I knew the tightening procedure would be the same.. I didn't understand why the OP specified 4x4, as if there would be a difference?

Maybe he didn’t know there wasn’t a difference?
I’d rather him be specific, rather than leave out information.

Nothing like trying to help someone when you don’t have all the information to help them.
OP did a good job. Gave us all the information pertaining to “his” truck.
    We answered the question successfully.

Then we went went off track.
Which is normal for TW. Even I am guilty this time.

Where do I get a 83 ft/lb lug wrench to tighten the lugs properly, mine only weighs a couple pounds? And how will it fit in the truck, that’s too long!

Is it TRD beadlock specific though? Beadlocks never came on any factory Tacomas AFAIK...
Is the owner's manual and every other resource correct; or is this correct? Who knows...?
FWIW, I torque using the star pattern.

You’re correct, but then I’d miss the chance to razz OP over his LED bed lights.

They did on the Baja package 2nd gens. I looked through all the files I have saved and sure enough the literature I have for these wheels (which would supersede the manual) shows the same pattern.

The pattern shouldn’t be the question.
The pattern applies to most all wheels.
    Tighten opposite lugs.

The question should be the proper torque spec.
Which is why I included it in my original reply.

come on. back in the day manuals told you how to adjust valves and how to top up batteries and how to rotate the full-sized spare. now they say don't drink the radiator and battery contents.

I need to rotate the tires.
Could someone pass along the torque setting to be used to loosen the lugnuts?

Fortunately, I looked at all my lugnuts before taking them off and I cannot see the lugnut number labels on them - as shown in the manual.

    - is my Taco defective?

Please help. I'll be unable to confirm proper placement and put the wheels back on otherwise.
    :notsure:

    Thank you.

The six is suppose to be across from the one, the two and the five, and the three across from the four. So these dice won't do.

For some reason I remember either my old deuce and a half or M818 in the Army having that kind of a setup.
