I just started in February so I’m still kinda settling in. Actually this is still a big improvement. This time last year I was making almost half this as a research assistant.

    noooo... Not yet :p

I'm trying to get it dialed in well enough that I can tool around town and drive between trail heads that have connecting roads. The truck has always maxed out at about 30 since I bought it. People in the propane group are claiming 50-80mph out of similar builds so I'm chasing issues.

I also suspect dropping my 15" steel beadlocks for some 17 aluminum ones will help by reducing the rotating mass of the drivetrain significantly

To be honest I know a lot of people out here in their 20s that would love to start at $60k at a gig, and as we all know the cost of living here is crazy. If you're just starting out there I'm sure there is a ways to climb in time

Yea I feel lucky cause I’ve heard of people my age applying to hundreds of jobs over a year and still coming up short. I got like the 3rd one I applied to last year somehow.

I barely did, I got everything so ready and psyched myself up for the interview for days prior, went in and was basically hired in 5 minutes. My boss at the time just didn't want to go through the headache of going through a thousand applicants and I was the first one to actually go and inquire in person, so they put me on 3 month probationary status right away
